2009 Oklahoma Age Group Coach of the
Year
Coach Cindy while balancing a family and a career as a Registered
Nurse, Cindy began coaching in 1996, with the YMCA and USA swim
programs in Ardmore, Oklahoma. While there she was the Head Coach
for Plainview and Ardmore High Schools. She initiated the satellite
EAT program in 2002. In July 2003, the Goddard’s moved to
Edmond and she became the Age Group Coach for EAT. She has served
as the Oklahoma 12 and Under-Zones Coach in 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008,
and 2011. She is currently the Age-Group Chairperson and the
Disability Swimming Chairperson for the OKlahoma LSC.
Cindy is married to Roy Goddard, Jr., who practices as an
Emergency Room Physician. They have two children. Erin is a Doctor
of Pharmacy and Chip is a graduate student at the University of
Central Oklahoma.

Joy-Lee E Stowe

Coach Joy-Lee Stowe started
swimming with EAT when she was 8. In 2003 she participated as a
freestyle sprinter in the Central Mega Zones in Indianapolis. She
qualified for Oklahoma High School State for 4 years, swimming for
Edmond North High School. She was an All-American Academic swimmer
in 2008 and 2009.
While very active in Girl Scouts
and her church youth group, Joy-Lee has worked part-time for the
past 6 years with the Swim America Program and Extreme’s
Novice Groups.
She is currently a full-time
student at UCO, in general studies.

Ty C Smith
Assistant Coach

Coach Ty started swimming at a young age in his home town of
Altus, Oklahoma. He swam three out of four years at Altus High
School. Directly out of high school Ty was given the opportunity to
be the assistant coach to the Western Waterdogs, a new and USA Swim
team located out of his home town. He accepted and quickly found
that coaching was something he was not only good at, but was also
extremely passionate about. Ty graduated from Western Oklahoma
State College with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, and
is continuing his education at the University of Central Oklahoma
in Edmond, Oklahoma, at which he is studying English Education. Ty
has been with EAT since July of 2012.

Evan Thomas Dunn

As one of Extreme’s original
members, Evan has been with the team since 1998. He graduated from
Edmond North High School (where his records still stand) in 2007
after helping the team win State in ’05 and ’06 and was
the Oklahoma Swimming Coaches Association Swimmer of the Year as a
senior. He continued swimming at the D-1 collegiate level at the
University of Illinois-Chicago where he helped lead the team to
their first Horizon League Championship victory and was the
men’s team co-caption his senior year. He left there
with the record in the 200 IM.
Evan holds the following

Evan finished his undergrad in May
2011 with a Bachelor in Kinesiology and has completed his first
year at Northeastern University's Optometry School.
